Bromley Homes for Bromley People

Anerley will soon have 10 new homes early 2022...

This project is the second of two projects which we have secured with Bromley Council. Soon to start manufacture off-site with site preparation works starting 24th May.

Anerley is a BOPAS accredited 10 home, residential scheme to deliver turnkey homes for use as temporary accommodation on the Anerley Town Hall overflow car park.

Our Site Manager for this project is Simon Nicholson

Simon's role is to deliver this project for London Borough Bromley, on-time and on budget by planning and organising our resources and people. Simon has a wealth of experience on both the traditional sites and off-site construction sites, so is able to align the best possible solution that ensures we can deliver this accommodation quickly and compliantly.

Project progress updates

Update #1 - Site preparation works - 24th May 2021

Hoarding will be placed on site, with groundworks commencing the following week. The works are due to be completed early 2022

Update #2 - Site works & Hoarding - 26th July 2021

As part of the development, we will be creating dropped kerb access onto driveways to the front elevation of the building, this elevation is along George Groves Road. From Monday 26th July we will install a site hoarding down George Groves Road which will allow us access on and off site from William Booth Road and will also allow us to carry out works to the footpath along George Groves Road.

This will mean that cars will no longer be able to park in the area marked below along George Groves Road.

Can we please ask that this area is kept clear from Monday 26th July 2021

Update #3 - Installation of modules - 6th September 2021

Firstly, thank you for your support during the installation of our hoarding system to George Groves Road, this was greatly appreciated and helped speed up the process further. We do apologise for any inconvenience caused, we did as much as possible to avoid any disruption to you and your community and ensured there was a member of our team constantly managing any traffic moving along George Groves Road.

Following our initial Project Insight newsletter shared in July, we are continuing to progress well on site in readiness of the modular apartment building arriving. As we are now approaching completion of the below groundworks, we thought we would keep you updated on the date of our modular building delivery and installation.

Our installation will begin Monday 6th September and will consist of 32no modules. We will deliver the modules to the site on articulated vehicles, these will be brought onto the site via Anerley Road and Anerley Town Halls access road, these will be escorted on and off-site by trained operatives to limit any disruption. Once brought onto site, the modules will be lifted into place using our mobile crane which will be located behind our hoarding on George Groves Road. The installation of all modules will start from the 6th of September and continue over a five-day period, Monday - Friday. On Monday our mobile crane will arrive and be set up on-site. Once in place, we will install approx. 4no modules at hourly intervals. Tuesday – Thursday approx. 7no modules will arrive each day and be lifted into position, finally on Friday 10th September our remaining modules will be lifted into position.

Over this period there will be slight disruption to traffic on Anerley Road as our vehicles make their way from the highway and onto the site. They will be delivered to site in the least disruptive manner as possible.
